Home Invasion Suspects Sought

Bellevue Police are investigating a home invasion that happened on Saturday afternoon in the 2500 block of Kibbon Drive. Two suspects are in custody and two more remain at large.

Investigators are looking for April Valdez and Derick Kimble Jr. The third suspect, 30year-old Marty Nelson, has been arrested by Bellevue PD and the fourth person, 35-year-old Scott Nelson was arrested by Council Bluffs Police on Saturday on unrelated charges.

Bellevue Police say two people were held at gunpoint by a man armed with a handgun during the home invasion. The accomplices stole several items from the house and left.

The Officer called to the scene was able to get a license plate number of the suspects' vehicle. It was registered in Council Bluffs. The Bellevue investigation eventually expanded to include Council Bluffs and Omaha police.

Marty A. Nelson is being charged with Robbery and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony. He is currently in custody at Sarpy County Jail. Charges against Scott Nelson are pending in Sarpy County for the Armed Robbery and Use of a Weapon to Commit a Felony.

Authorities are looking for help in locating the two remaining suspects. Valdez is 28-years-old, 5’ 3” tall and weighs 106 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes. Kimble is 32-years-old, 5’ 11” tall and weighs 220. He is believed to carry a firearm. Both Kimble and Valdez were last known to be residents of Omaha.
