When the worst of the storms passed Sunday, residents in the Skyline neighborhood discovered quite a bit of damage.
Al Kar told WOWT 6 News, "We moved from California to here, we're not used to this so I think its an experience for all of us,"
One street, near 220th and Leavenworth, had to be blocked off after a large limb went through a roof and broke a gas line. A block over, another tree fell on top of Tina Peakcocks van. Neighbors were quick to lend a hand.
Peakcock said, "It's stressful. How are you going to get to work, but at least it's the best case scenario that nobody is hurt."
Not only did neighbors lend a hand cleaning up debris, some even offered a place to spend the night for those left without power.
