Leslie "Cookie" Hoberman plead no contest Thursday morning to a charge of motor vehicle homicide after a fatal crash in which she failed to yield the right of way.

Forty-five-year-old Jeffrey Ahl (pictured) died when his motorcycle was clipped by Hoberman's vehicle at 157th and Pacific last May.

The 69-year-old Hoberman is known to many in Omaha for her involvement in "The Winner's Circle," a motivational program for disadvantaged school children.

She will be sentenced in January.
