Southeast Nebraska, southwest Iowa and northwest Missouri until 4 a.m. Sunday. This includes Omaha, Council Bluffs and Lincoln.
Council Bluffs authorities quickly contained a brief natural gas leak Wednesday morning on the city's east side.
Emergency crews were called the the area on a report of a car crashed into a gas meter at 7040 Valley View Road just east of Interstate 29.
Witnesses told police on the scene that the driver took off on foot, which led to a brief search of the area.
It turned out a teenage driver was responsible and police tell A WOWT reporter at the scene he ran home to call a parent.
The gas was shut off so the meter can be repaired. No evacuations were required.
