A hit-and-run accident sent a parked SUV into a Lincoln home Saturday night.

Homeowner Diane Greene said she heard the crash just after 9 p.m. and felt her house on the 1800 block of A Street shake. Her husband went outside and saw an overturned Chevy Blazer with gas leaking.

Aaron Van Steenberg, the owner of the SUV, said he also heard the crash. When he looked out the window he noticed his Blazer was gone and called 911 to report it stolen. When he went outside he realized the SUV had been pushed into the neighbor's house, damaging the porch.

"All these people were running around asking me if this is my car and sure enough there it was, upside down in these poor people's yard."

Several witnesses told police they saw a white Cadillac speeding. One witness was able to get the license plate number as the car left the scene after hitting the SUV. The suspect was found in his damaged car at 6th and A streets. Van Steenberg said police told him the suspect was driving on a suspended license.
