A winter weather advisory is in effect for parts of northeastern Nebraska and northern Iowa until 6 a.m. Monday.
One to three inches combined with strong northwest winds will cause slick roads and reduced visibilities north of the metro.
Winter weather advisories also cover most of Minnesota and South Dakota, nearly all of Wisconsin and large parts of North Dakota.
Rochester, Minnesota police responded to more than 70 crashes. In northwestern Minnesota, four people were injured in a crash on Interstate 94 while a woman was injured when a car slid into a parked fire truck.
