High winds and tree branches falling on power lines left more than 840 people in the dark Wednesday evening.
Lincoln Police say a downed power line near 70th and Fremont Streets forced officers to shut down 70th Street for several hours.
People from 70th to 84th Street and Cornhusker to Ballard didn't have power for a while. By Thursday morning, most customers' power was restored.
