Though gas prices are up, more people are traveling this Labor Day weekend.
Despite the recent increase in gas prices, the last major holiday of the summer is expected to be busier than ever. According to the Triple A, 33-million Americans will hit the roadways, traveling at least 50 miles for the long weekend.
Travelers are also expected to spend more on their trips, but are saving money by staying with friends or relatives.
The survey found that two-thirds of Americans said their current financial status would not affect their Labor Day plans.
