A Heartland woman's car is targeted by thieves, twice.
Christine Shafer says both times, her car was parked in her employer's lot in Omaha. The first time in 2012, thieves got away with her catalytic converter. The second time, happening Tuesday, they weren't as successful. Still, the would-be-thieves caused about $800 worth of damages.
"You know, you don't want to cry but that's what you feel like," said Shafer. "It's maddening. It's frustrating. It is a huge expense and all for nothing that I have done to anybody."
