Family and friends gathered to honor the life of Pfc. Brandon Buttry in Shenandoah Thursday.
Funeral services for the 19-year-old were held at First Baptist Church. Buttry was killed in action in Afghanistan on November 5th wile serving in the Kandahar Province.
Family friends tell Channel 6 News that it had been Brandon’s lifelong dream to become a soldier.
