The Plattsmouth Harvest Festival is gearing up for another successful year.
“It’s hopping,” Korn Klub President Nancy Johnson told the Cassgram. “We had so many requests for activities that it was difficult trying to find locations for everything.”
The festival starts Friday.
A noticeable change this year will be the stage location and parade routes. (There is construction on Avenue A now which is the usual line-up area for the parade.) The main stage will be at 6th and Main instead of 4th and Main. The parade will line up on Chicago Avenue and go onto 1st Avenue, proceed onto 6th St. and then east down Main to 3rd. Then loop from 3rd Street to 1st Avenue back to the starting location.
If the number of contacts made to Festival organizers is any indication, the 6pm Grand Parade Saturday could be a big one, says Johnson.
