Say happy birthday to Rhodie Value. The Omaha woman turns 104-years-old on Thursday.
Rhodie celebrated her birthday a day early at the Blondo Social Hall. She says she's lived an incredible life but never expected to live this long.
"Never, never thought I'd do it. Never thought it,” she said. “And you know, I don't feel like it. I have very few aches and pains, and when I do I just push them aside and keep on going. And I am still cooking. I still go to the grocery store. So what else could you want for?"
Living long is in her blood. Rhodie's father lived to 100. She had an uncle who lived to 104 as well.
Her only advice: work hard at everything you do.
