A man is expected to recover after being shot in the wrist. Omaha police say 18-year-old David Perry showed up at Creighton University Medical Center about 11 p.m. Thursday. He said he was meeting with two other people when he was shot.
Police found a crime scene at 31st and Lafayette Avenue. According to a police report, Perry said during the meeting, an argument developed and then a shot was fired. He fled the scene on foot and found a ride to the hospital from a passerby.
Perry provided police with a vague description of the other two men. His wound is not considered life threatening.
