Guns Stolen One County Found In Another

Guns stolen from Cass County found during Omaha drug bust. The Cass County Sheriff’s Department received a report of a burglary Tuesday morning at a rural Murray residence. Sheriff Wm. C. Brueggemann reports three rifles and a pistol were taken.

The Cassgram reports the stolen firearms were entered into the National Criminal Information Center and were recovered on Thursday afternoon when the Omaha Police Department served a search warrant at a residence in Omaha. The stolen pistol and two of the rifles were found.

26-year-old Brandon White and 21-year-old Daniel Corliss were taken into custody and charged with possession of the stolen firearms. They are currently being held in the Douglas County Jail.
