A masked bandit hit La Vista’s CVS store for a hefty take from the pharmacy.
The pharmacist at the 84th and Harrison location found himself looking down the barrel of a handgun around 10:30 Wednesday night.
The gunman demanded oxycontin. The pharmacist had to get the bottle of the pain killers from a safe and hand it over.
La Vista Detective Scott Collett said, “He was very demanding. He gave the pharmacist 10 seconds to get the pills out while displaying the handgun."
The robber made off with about 240 pills of the addictive medicine.
