A scary wake-up call has an Omaha neighborhood looking for answers. Recently, several homes were hit in a drive-by shooting and the homeowners don't know why.
The neighborhood near 45th and Maple woke up to gunfire. The target is unknown, but the bullets pierced several homes in the area. Up to seven bullets hit a single house. Matt Torrison says he and his neighbors were just innocent residents caught in the gunfire by who they call a coward.
"I think they are attacking without even thinking about the possibility that there are families in neighborhoods. I have a wife, I have a child, those are things that I have to worry about."
Tony Pflug says he's never been a violent person, but may get a firearm now to protect his family. "I'm looking into the laws. It's one thing if people break into your house and you shoot them, but if there's bullets hitting my house, do I have the right to shoot them across the street? Those are questions I have for law enforcement."
Tony’s home was hit seven times while his two granddaughters were inside. He said one bullet even pierced a window and went through a second-floor bathroom.
