A gun was one of many items taken in a rash of thefts from vehicles on Saturday.
The Cassgram reports Cass County sheriff's deputies took the reports from residents of Eagle. Items stolen included of a silver colored revolver, a Samsung Galaxy 2 computer tablet, car stereos, cash, and many miscellaneous items.
Call logs indicate there were more than 20 theft or attempted theft reports taken.
The thefts are believed to have occurred between 1am and 4am Saturday morning. Reports say a few area residents had observed the suspects attempting to break into cars, but did not contact law enforcement to report the suspicious activity.
The suspects may be three males and one female. Anyone with information on these thefts is encouraged to contact the Cass County Sheriff’s Office at 402-296-9370 or Crime Stoppers at 800-327-3699. If you see or think you see a crime in progress please call 911.
Sheriff Brueggemann suggests that you lock your vehicles and do not leave valuables visible, especially during this Christmas shopping season.
