A firearm has been found inside a student's locked vehicle at a high school in central Iowa.
The gun was found Monday in the vehicle at the Norwalk Community High School parking lot.
District superintendent Denny Wulf says it appears the gun was never inside the building. Wulf says he didn't know whether the student had made any threats.
He says police are investigating and will turn over results to Warren County prosecutors.
