Gummy Bears soaked in vodka and brought to school.
The Cassgram reports that on Thursday at approximately 11:50am the Plattsmouth Police Department received a call to the Plattsmouth High School in reference to a student being caught with 6 lbs. of candy soaked in alcohol. Upon arrival the officer was given two Ziploc bags full of gummy bears.
The subsequent investigation revealed that the candy had been soaked in cherry vodka. A 16-year-old female was cited for minor in possession of alcohol.
The Plattsmouth Police Department would like all parents to be on the lookout for this type of activity, as it is gaining popularity with persons under the age of 21. And with Halloween coming up the PD would encourage all parents to be on the lookout for this activity and to vigorously check any gummy candy that their children get while trick or treating.
