The jury has returned a guilty verdict in the 2012 murder of Miguel Avalos and his two sons.
Anthony Davis was convicted on three counts each of first degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
Prosecutors said Davis planned to rob Miguel Avalos on July 9, 2012 during a drug deal. He shot Miguel and his sons, Jose and Miguel Avalos, Jr. in the head.
According to prosecutors, Miguel Avalos, Sr. was the target of a narcotics investigation; however, the confidential informant in the case not only allegedly told police about Avalos, but helped Davis find Avalos the night of the murders.
