Late Thursday night a caller to law enforcement claimed a man with a gun was at Gross High School. Multiple law enforcement agencies converged on the scene but after a lengthy search no one was found.
It is unclear to what degree the phone call Thursday night can be traced.
A few students and adults were in the school at the time for extracurricular activities. They were moved to a secure place but everyone was released when the search confirmed there was no danger.
The school is open Friday morning.
