Green Day has cancelled all remaining oncerts that were scheduled through February. That includes the February 4th show at CenturyLink Center Omaha.
New dates for the rescheduled shows are expected to be announced soon. Previously purchased tickets will be honored on the new dates.
Refunds will also be available at the original point of purchase when the new concert date is announced for Omaha.
The decision was made based on the need for Green Day frontman Billie Joe Armstrong to undergo treatment for substance abuse.
In a news release, Green Day bassist Mike Dirnt said, “Obviously the timing for this isn’t ideal, but Billie Joe’s well-being is our main concern. We are happy to say that Billie Joe is doing well and we want to thank you all for the outpouring of support and well wishes that we have received. We can’t wait to see you all again.”
