2015 NATIONAL ALPACA SHOW & AUCTION

Friday, March 13 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, March 14 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 15 8:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
The Nebraska State Fairgrounds at Fonner Park will be the site of the 2015 National Alpaca Show & Auction.
The show brings in hundreds of participants and close to 1,000 alpacas from all over the world.
Grand Island was chosen for it's central location, according to the group hosting the event, the Alpaca Owners Association, Inc.
The AOA is based out of Lincoln, Nebraska.
The event will be free and open to the public. It is set to be held March 13-15.
Alpacas from across the country will be featured in the show ring competition. The show will be comprised of classes judging conformation and fleece quality in many categories for both Suri and Huacaya alpacas.
Artisans will showcase alpaca fiber and examples of felting, fiber arts, and more. Dozens of vendors and farm displays will sell the latest alpaca fashions and hand-crafted items.
There will also be an auction, on Friday, March 13th at 3 p.m.
