Governor Seeks OPPD Board Applicants

Governor Dave Heineman is seeking qualified applicants interested in filling a vacancy on the Omaha Public Power District Board of Directors, representing the utility's Suburban Subdivision.

Applicants will be accepted through the close of business on Friday, January 25th. The appointee will be subject to election in 2014.

The Suburban Subdivision is bordered to the east by the Missouri river, to the north by Harrison Street, to the west from 108th to 84th and to the south by Fairview and Plattview Roads.

Interested individuals should complete the application form available on the Governor's website and include a cover letter and resume addressed to Peggy King in the Governor's Office.
