Nebraska Governor Dave Heineman has appointed Tim Gay of Papillion to the OPPD Board of Directors.
The seat became vacant in December after board member John Thompson passed away.
Gay will represent the utility’s Suburban Division. The 48-year-old appointee works as a senior advisor at Husch Blackwell of Omaha.
He previously represented the 14th Legislative District in the Nebraska Legislature from 2006 until 2010. He also served as a Sarpy County Commissioner from 1995 until 2006.
