Omaha Police have identified the driver involved in a hit and run accident as 35-year-old Geoffrey Marshall. He’s been booked for Felony Leaving the Scene of a Personal Injury Collision.
Marshall, in the company of his attorney, surrendered to police.
The incident happened late Sunday night.
Omaha police say it began when a Dodge Ram driven by 24-year-old Zachary Fisher pulled into the path of a Chrysler Sebring driven by 23-year-old Abby Dacobberger near the intersection of 44th and Dodge, causing a collision.
21-year-old Laura Richwine witnessed the crash and went to assist the drivers of both vehicles.
Shortly after that, a car drove by and hit Fisher's pickup, pushing it into Richwine. The driver of that car, now identified as Marshall, took off from the scene.
Richwine was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with a broken leg.
