Scores of runners turned out Monday for a special run along the Keystone Trail.
The Go Girl Run is designed to increase the overall health of families. Mother, and their children, were encouraged to sign-up for the 5k run or one of the shorter races. Organizers told Channel 6 News the event is a great way to promote good health and habits.
Megan Berry Barlow said, "Moms tend to be the driving force behind families in a lot of ways so if you have healthy moms who like to exercise and be active the idea is that the entire family would benefit from that."
The event supports Hope Center for Kids.
