For the 10th year, the Girl Scouts in Nebraska will be working side-by-side with professional artists to create art for a fundraiser.
artVenture has more than 700 girls taking part this year.
“artVenture is a Girl Scout leadership program and the auction event is always spectacular,” said Fran Marshall, CEO, Girl Scouts Spirit of Nebraska in a news release. “Participating in artVenture allows girls to develop their creativity and teaches them what it means to be philanthropic.”
The gallery opening will be Thursday, March 21, 6-8 p.m. at Mammel Hall on the UNO campus at 6708 Pine.
The public silent auction will be Friday, March 22, from 7 - 9:30 p.m.
