Two Omaha men who were caught siphoning gas were carrying a little bit more than they possibly should have.
According to police reports, officers were called to the Wentworth Apartments near 86th and S last Saturday to investigate a robbery.
When they arrived, a security officer said he saw the two men siphoning gas. Police officers found a siphoning tube hanging out of a vehicle and found a funnel and gas can in the car the two men were driving.
Police also found a black 40 cal. handgun on the driver, 21-year-old Matthew Miller. His passenger, 28-year-old Justin Gruhn was found possession a knife.
A search of the car uncovered methamphetamine, a pipe used for smoking meth, a hacksaw and copper piping scrapes. The two were also booked for theft of the gasoline.
Miller also had four active warrants from three different law enforcement agencies
