An Omaha gas station/convenience store has been robbed for the second time this week.
A young man believed to be between 15 and 20 years old pulled a gun and demanded money from the clerk at the Speedee Mart near South 120th Street and West Center Road around 1:30 a.m. Friday. After getting the cash, the suspect ran eastbound on Westwood Lane.
While en route to the scene, a police cruiser was nearly hit by a motorist on Westwood Lane. The driver then got out of the vehicle and ran into a nearby home. Thinking this could be the man who committed the robbery, the officer followed him.
While it was determined 24-year-old Aaron Kreager was not involved in the robbery, he was booked for DUI, willful reckless driving, false reporting, obstruction and violation of a CCW permit.
