A severe thunderstorm warning is in effect for Colfax, Madison, Platte and Stanton counties in Nebraska until 7:45 p.m. Sunday.
The funeral for an Ashland police officer has been moved due to the large crowd expected to attend.
The service for Officer Daniel Ottis was scheduled to take place 10 a.m. Monday at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Ashland. The funeral will instead be held in the Ashland-Greenwood High School gym at 10 a.m. Monday.
Ottis, killed in a crash last Tuesday on his way to work, will be buried at Calvary Cemetery in Fremont.
He served the Ashland community for 10 years.
