While many children spent their summer vacation enjoying the sun, swim and time off, times have not been as easy for 5th grader Kween Alabi. She was diagnosed with a 5" tumor on her spinal cord over the summer.
As Alabi tries to recover from surgery performed on September 7th, her classmates and the staff at her school, Prairie Wind Elementary, have been working to help her family stay in their home.
