A fugitive sought in connection with an October homicide has been captured. Samuel Ochoa, 27, has been booked for First-Degree Murder in the investigation of Rodney Hunt's death.
Ochoa also faces a charge of Use of a Gun to Commit a Felony.
Warrants were issued last week for Ochoa and 27-year-old Amber Perez in this case. Perez remains at large.
Officers were initially called to the location to investigate a report of shots being fired. That call was upgraded to a report of a shooting while police were en route.
Officers and medics arrived to find Hunt who was transported to the hospital in critical condition. He later died.
Police arrested 23-year-old Anthony Floyd earlier in their investigation of this case. He was booked for First-Degree Murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
The search for Perez continues.
