We spoke to a friend of Bryce Dion, the television crewmember killed Tuesday night.
Kimm Tremblay said Dion was a hard worker often living out of hotels because of, "all the traveling they do".
She said she feels badly for the officers involved, knowing they were doing their job.
"He was the person who paid attention to detail,” Tremblay said. “So when they were out doing things, I know he'd be looking around to make sure that they could get the best that they could for what they were hired to do."
“He said that they would go in there and they'd be prepared, but you never know what's going to happen."
