Fremont Teen Bowls Perfect Game

If you're like most of us, bowling a 100 is an accomplishment. For some getting one strike is enough. But a couple of Fremont teens are rolling much higher.

13 year old Tyler Synovec spends a lot of time at 30 Bowl.

“This is like my second home, like I wish I could spend the night here sometimes. I've been bowling since I was two. I used to bowl overhand because I wasn't strong enough to bowl underhand,” said Synovec.

At age seven, he was finally strong enough to bowl underhand. That followed with strike, after strike, after strike until this past weekend, when Tyler knocked down a major goal.

“I've been working on that goal forever,” said Synovec. “It felt good to finally just get it off my chest.”

He's talking about bowling a perfect game. He bowled a 300, the third member of his team to accomplish the score at a young age.

“He's been so close so many times, it's just a matter of time before he can actually get it,” said teammate Zach Karr.

Karr and his brother Alec have both bowled 300’s. They know how much work it takes.

“We didn't really expect it to happen at such a young age,” said Karr.

At 13, Tyler hopes this won't be his last perfect game. For now, he'll take it one strike at a time.
