In 2010, the College of Saint Mary has had six teachers from Fremont High School who have earned their Ed.D. in Educational Leadership.
Two of them walked through commencement in May, and the remaining four will be participating in commencement this weekend on the CSM campus.
The women are: Dr. Brenda Schiermeyer (graduated in May); Dr. Mary Trehearn (graduated in May); Dr. Priscilla Beckmann; Dr. Shannon Hansen; Dr. Sheli Hensley; and Dr. Stacey Smith.
“This is the first time we’ve had so many women from one school (outside of CSM) participate in the program at the same time,” said Dr. Lois Linden, associate professor in the Ed.D. program at CSM.
