Four young children removed after being found dirty and unkempt.
Douglas County Sheriff's deputies were called to check on the well being of the children at a northwest Omaha mobile home community. When they arrived deputies noticed an adult Julio Bolanos acting nervous and he provided false names.
Deputies noticed Bolanos had green paint around his mouth and lips. Deputies suspected he had been inhaling the paint from a bag. Deputies believe the children ages one to four years old were in Bolanos care and couldn’t contact the parents at the time.
Bolanos was arrested on four misdemeanor counts of child abuse and neglect. The children were placed in emergency foster care. He was also arrested for providing false information.
