An Omaha man is in custody, the result of a four-month drug investigation.

The Douglas County Sheriff’s Department says 40-year-old Anthony Acome was arrested Tuesday night following a drug deal near 91st and Fort streets.

Investigators then served a search warrant at Acome’s home near North 88th Avenue and Quest Street where they found vials of illicit steroids, along with $15,000 cash and 27 guns.

Authorities say Acome was manufacturing steroids from chemicals he had shipped to him from overseas and selling his product on the streets.

Acome faces three counts of delivery of a controlled substance, one count of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and one count of possession of a firearm while delivering a controlled substance.
