One man is dead and three others wounded, including a teenage girl in a shooting at an Omaha social hall late Friday night.
Shots rang out in a crowd that had gathered for a party at the Lothrop Social Hall at 24th and Lothrop around 11:45 p.m. Police said someone drove by and fired several shots. Shots were also fired inside the hall.
Inside the club, officers found 21-year-old Jacquez Lewis and 14-year-old Aleeah Whitcomb wounded. They were taken to the Nebraska Medical Center in critical condition. Lewis later died from his injuries.
Two other victims, 20-year-old Tahfahn Dennis and 22-year-old Omar Williams, were taken to Creighton University Medical Center by private vehicle. They are expected to survive.
