A 57-year-old former Sarpy County official has been given jail time and probation for stealing from the county.
Court records say Patrick Clarke, of Bellevue, on Monday was sentenced to 90 days in jail and three years of probation. He'd pleaded guilty to misdemeanor charges of theft and official misconduct after making a deal with prosecutors.
Prosecutors say Clarke used a county-issued gas card to fill up his personal vehicle from May 2011 to September 2012. He also was accused of stealing tools from the county. Clarke was the county's fleet services director.
