Registration has begun for next year's fundraising Football 101 class at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
The daylong event on June 1st raises money to help fight breast cancer. It is organized and sponsored by the Bo Pelini Foundation and the Southeast Nebraska Cancer Center. The foundation was founded in 2008 by Nebraska football coach Bo Pelini and his wife, Mary Pat Pelini.
The day's classes will be led by Bo Pelini and his coaching staff and will be held at the Hawks Championship Center, the adjoining Memorial Stadium and the nearby Champions Club. The classes address the basics of football and are geared toward a female audience.
