One person is recovering from injuries after a bus carrying Lincoln Southeast High School football players and coaches collided with a minivan Friday night.
No one on the bus was hurt. The driver of the minivan was taken to a Lincoln hospital with injuries not considered to be life threatening.
Lincoln Police Capt. Jason Stille says the bus and minivan collided at 56th and A streets around 7:30 p.m. as the bus was attempting to turn left. The bus driver was cited on suspicion of negligent driving.
The Knights had just defeated Bellevue West 45-14 at Seacrest Field.
