An author will discuss food politics during his Heuermann Lecture on Feb. 27 at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Robert Paarlberg is a political science professor at Wellesley College and author of the book "Food Politics: What Everyone Needs to Know."
His free lecture is scheduled to begin at 3:30 p.m. in the Hardin Hall auditorium at 33rd and Holdrege. The title: "Our Culture War Over Food and Farming."
Paarlberg says the stakes in the cultural war over food and farming systems include "not just the future of food and farming in the United States, but also in the developing world."
