WOWT, the Omaha Farmer’s Market, and Gretchen Swanson Center for Nutrition invite you to the second annual Food Day on October 21st at Aksarben Village.
Food Day is a nationwide celebration and movement toward healthy, affordable, and sustainable food. Omaha will join the movement and learn to "eat real" on the last day of its summer market with support from Aksarben Village and Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Nebraska.
In addition to the Farmers Market, there will be children’s activities, cooking demonstrations and more to teach attendees how to support sustainable farming and promotes safe, healthy foods.
This FREE event will be held at Aksarben Village, 67th and Center, from 9a.m. to 1 p.m.
