An early morning rollover crash sends one child to the hospital by helicopter and four by ambulance.
About 1:30 Monday morning, crews were sent to Interstate 80 near mile marker 415.
According to Nebraska State Patrol Sergeant Fred Storm, it was a single vehicle accident.
Storm said the Chevrolet Suburban, with California license plates, was traveling west when it lost control and rolled three times ending up on its side. The SUV ended up on the entrance ramp to the truck scales on the south side of the Interstate.
One child remained strapped in the car seat and the seat was held in place by seat belt, through the entire crash.
A 12-year-old was ejected from the SUV and was transported to Bryan West Campus by Star Care V. Two children and two adults were transported by ambulance.
There is no update about the medical condition of any of the five taken to the hospital.
The vehicle is a total loss.
