A Nebraska man apparently upset over his fishing being interrupted is accused of threatening members of the Air Force during a water rescue exercise.
William Roberts of Lyons was arrested Monday at Branched Oak Lake. The Lancaster County sheriff's office says Offutt's 55th Wing was using personal watercraft. Roberts apparently became upset when the machines went by his boat and tangled his fishing line.
Authorities say Roberts pulled out a handgun and fired into the air and threatened to shoot the guard members if they didn't stop.
Roberts was arrested for terroristic threats. He's in jail pending a court appearance on Tuesday.
