A Heartland woman, chased from her apartment by a fire, has even more trouble today.
Judy Flower did not, originally, ask for help from the Red Cross. Instead she moved in with family.
Since then she has moved into a hotel but is quickly running out of insurance money to pay for the room.
She's hopes her Hillsborough Apartment security deposit refund comes quickly.
Judy Flower says, "I had nothing to do with the fire and I should be getting that back and we're up to 16 days and they keep saying well it's coming in the mail, it's coming in the mail and it is not showing up."
The Red Cross has stepped in to help Judy with some of the hotel expenses and the Creighton Law Center has also helped with legal advice concerning the deposit and her March rent.
Judy expects to receive her checks early next week.
