No one was hurt in a fire that broke out in a Florence apartment Wednesday morning.
Firefighters were called to the area of N. 30th and Clay Streets just before 10 a.m. The fire was in one of five apartments that are above a business. Officials said it was the business owner who alerted them to the fire.
A tenant told WOWT 6 News he opened his apartment door and saw smoke. He was forced to use another exit to escape.
According to the Battalion Chief at the scene, there is no structural damage and the building is still livable.
