A Bellevue home up for sale was damaged by fire Wednesday morning. No one was injured.
The fire started around 10:30 a.m. near 30th and Bonnie streets, just south of Chandler Road. According to the battalion chief at the scene, the blaze started on the east side of the house. The origin is unknown, but the flames quickly spread to inside the home. At this time, the fire is not considered suspicious.
Nobody was home when the fire started. The homeowner told the fire department he will take down the for sale sign due to the considerable damage.
