An Omaha family is forced from their home following an early morning fire.
Just after two Thursday morning firefighters arrived at the home, near 133rd and Charles, to find flames shooting from the roof.
Crews were able to get the flames under control in about 30 minutes.
The family did make it out safely but was forced to stay with friends in the neighborhood overnight.
While the cause is under investigation, initial radio reports indicate is was electrical in nature.
